• What the title: Impact of Power Point / PDF (learning media with ICT) on student achievement

• Objective (descriptive title or purpose of the research): The purpose of the research "The Impact of Power Point / PDF (learning media with ICT) on student achievement" is to explore the magnitude of the impact which a student of the learning process that uses Power Point / PDF (learning media with ICT). The impact is measured by academic achievement at the student get. If student achievement is getting better, then the media Power Point / PDF (media with ICT) has a positive impact on students. But, if the student achievement becomes worse, then the media Power Point / PDF (media with ICT) has a negative impact on students. In addition, the main objective of the research was to compare the success rate of the learning process between using Power Point / PDF and using the book. And be aware of the main reasons students use media Power Point / PDF in learning.

a.       Effective (PDF / PPT can be used on a mobile device or laptop)

Of the 30 respondents in the data get:

Media that is easy to understand students' learning

Reasons for using media PPT / PDF in the learning process

•   Effective (13 person)
•   Can display animated so that the material is easy to understand (3 person)
•   The material easily available and cost-effective (5 person)
•   Participate - join a friend / make it look cool (1 person)
•   Choose more than one is 8 person

Student achievement, when learning to use PPT / PDF

From these data, we can conclude: most students prefer media with using PPT / PDF (media learning by using ICT). The main reason students choose media PPT / PDF is effective (PPT/PDF can be use on mobile device or laptop).

From these data, it can also be concluded: instructional media using PPT / PDF, have a positive impact on student achievement (Better achivement).
